Driving Foot Traffic and Engagement through Multi-channel Promotional Campaign for Money Lines Exchange

Background:

Money Lines Exchange, a leading financial services provider with multiple branches in Amman, Jordan, aimed to boost foot traffic to its three locations by running a promotional campaign. The objective was to attract more customers for MoneyGram transactions and increase awareness of the services offered. Our team devised a comprehensive multi-channel promotional campaign that utilized both traditional print materials and social media platforms.

Objectives:

Increase Foot Traffic: Drive higher footfall to Money Lines Exchange branches through engaging promotional offers.

Promote MoneyGram Transactions: Encourage customers to use MoneyGram services for both sending and receiving money.

Boost Brand Engagement: Generate excitement and engagement among existing and potential customers.

Create a Sense of Urgency: Highlight a limited-time offer to prompt immediate action.

Strategy and Execution:

Print Collaterals: We designed and printed flyers, danglers, and roll-up banners that featured vibrant visuals, the campaign offer, and the campaign duration. These materials were strategically placed within the branches to capture customer attention.

Social Media Campaign: Leveraging the client’s presence on Facebook and Instagram, we crafted engaging posts that conveyed the campaign’s enticing offer and the chance to win. High-quality visuals, including images of the branches and excited customers, were used to create a visual connection.

Interactive Content: To drive engagement, we designed interactive content such as polls and quizzes related to money transfers and the campaign theme. This encouraged users to participate and share their experiences.

User-generated Content: We encouraged customers to share their experiences using the campaign’s hashtag, fostering a sense of community and excitement.

Campaign Landing Page: A dedicated landing page on the client’s website was created to provide detailed terms and conditions, campaign information, and answers to frequently asked questions.

Results:

Foot Traffic Surge: All three branches experienced a 35% increase in walk-in traffic during the campaign period.

Increased MoneyGram Transactions: MoneyGram transactions saw a 28% boost as customers engaged with the promotional offer.

Social Media Engagement: The campaign posts received a total of 2,000 likes, 800 comments, and 400 shares across Facebook and Instagram platforms.

Brand Exposure: The hashtag associated with the campaign gained over 1,500 mentions on social media, extending the campaign’s reach beyond the physical branches.

Offer Acknowledgment: The campaign’s landing page received 1,200 visits, indicating a high level of interest and willingness to learn more.

Customer Retention: Existing customers appreciated the opportunity to win and engage with the brand, fostering loyalty.

Conclusion:

The multi-channel promotional campaign for Money Lines Exchange effectively achieved its objective of increasing foot traffic and engagement. By combining traditional print materials with a strong social media presence, the campaign captured the attention of the target audience, prompting them to visit the branches and engage with the services on offer. This case study underscores the importance of a well-executed multi-channel approach in driving both online and offline customer engagement and ultimately achieving business goals.
